What file formats are supported?
The knowledge base supports: PDF, DOCX, CSV, and Excel. Uploaded files are converted to vector storage and retrieved using semantic search technology.
What AI models are supported?
Botrun supports both open and commercial models:

What is the relationship between Botrun and TAIDE?
Botrun has integrated Taiwan's local TAIDE large language model, launching the taide-botrun fusion model:
- Quality score improved from 4.6 to 8.4 (out of 10) after fusion
- TAIDE is a Taiwan-made model supported by the National Science and Technology Council
- Provides localized Traditional Chinese AI capabilities
How is data security ensured?
- Private cloud zone — isolated environment, separated from other customers

- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) — supports TOTP, can be enforced

What features does the chat interface offer?
Beyond AI capabilities, the Botrun chat interface offers:
- Voice input: hold the record button, speech is automatically transcribed
- Flash voice mode: send immediately after recording, no preview needed
- Real-time streaming: SSE streaming, responses appear word by word
- File upload: drag-and-drop or click to upload (up to 200MB)
- Tool execution viewer: expand to see which tools the AI used and how long they took
- Copy and share: copy AI responses, share entire conversations (read-only link)
- Conversation management: rename, delete, view history
- Light/dark theme: switch between dark and light interface
